Release is a focused 30-minute Mobilitas treatment for times when one particular area needs attention. It is designed for a specific pattern of muscular tension, stiffness or restricted movement rather than a general or full-body massage. Your appointment begins with a concise conversation about what you have noticed, how the area is affecting you and what you would like from the session. Where helpful, this may be followed by simple movement observations to understand how your body is responding and to guide the treatment. The session is then shaped around your individual presentation. Treatment may combine massage, focused soft-tissue techniques, sustained pressure, assisted movement, stretching or gentle mobilisation. Pressure and positioning are adapted throughout according to your comfort and feedback; intensity is never treated as a measure of effectiveness. Although Release concentrates on one priority region, the body does not function as a collection of isolated parts. Treatment may therefore include closely connected structures where they appear relevant—for example, working around the neck and upper back when addressing the shoulder, or around the hip and surrounding musculature when considering lower-back comfort. The limited appointment time means that the session remains deliberately focused rather than attempting to address several unrelated concerns. Release is particularly suited to a familiar or localised area of tension, a shorter follow-up appointment, or occasions when you want purposeful treatment but have limited time. It can also provide a useful introduction to Mobilitas if you are unsure whether a longer session is right for you. Unlike Repose, the principal emphasis is not whole-body relaxation, although many people still find focused treatment calming. The intention is to help the area feel less guarded, support more comfortable movement and give you a clearer sense of how your body responds to treatment.
