Where Lympha: Fluens is designed to work selectively within 45 minutes, Integra allows time to consider the body more broadly. The longer session can include the neck and upper chest, abdomen, back and sides of the torso, arms, hands, legs and feet, depending on what is appropriate for you. This makes it especially suited to clients who would like a more comprehensive whole-body treatment, or who simply prefer not to feel that the session has to be condensed. The treatment remains characteristically gentle. Light, rhythmical movements are used to engage the skin and superficial tissues, with slow sweeping, stretching, circular and softly pumping techniques. Pressure is deliberately light and the pace unhurried. Integra is not a deeper or more intense form of Fluens; the difference is the time available, the breadth of the treatment and the opportunity to work through the body in a more connected sequence. A longer appointment also allows more space for positioning, comfort and rest. Treatment may take place on your back, front or side, with only the area being worked on uncovered at any one time. The abdomen and other more personal areas are included only with your agreement and can always be omitted. Integra can be useful when you want a session that feels less targeted and more encompassing: a gradual progression from central areas into the limbs and back again, allowing the treatment to develop without being hurried. It can also suit people who value the deeply calming, repetitive quality of lymph-stimulating massage and would like more time simply to settle into it. As with Fluens, Lympha: Integra is offered as a lymph-stimulating soft tissue treatment, not as clinical Manual Lymphatic Drainage or treatment for diagnosed lymphoedema. Its purpose is to support normal superficial tissue movement and the body's own lymphatic processes through gentle, considered manual techniques. If Fluens is the concise expression of Lympha, Integra is the fuller one: broader in scope, slower in pace and designed to treat the body as a connected whole.
